  • I offer private lessons in-person and virtually to Owner Trainers getting their Service Dogs ready to work. I mostly reserve my in-person sessions for handlers needing help with public access.

    Each session is 45-60 minutes long.

    • 1 session - $50

    • 4 sessions - $190

    • 8 sessions - $360

    • 12 sessions - $510

    • 16 sessions - $640

    All sessions must be used within 12 months of purchase.

  • This is a $75 service and is the option for you if you are looking for a one-time, 60 minute consult to get professional information about:

    • your training plan/progress with your dog

    • questions regarding Service Dog related laws

    • planning for a service dog

    • want to discuss anything regarding service dog training

    • exploring service dog equipment and what’s right/safe for your dog

    • making plans for reasonable accommodation requests regarding bringing your service dog to work or having an employee bring a service dog to work

    If you are a regular client seeing me on a decently consistent basis, any of these things can be discussed during a regular appointment.

  • I only accept ONE Board & Train Client at a time. Dogs staying with me get time working on house manners, cue responses, public access manners, and can include task training. Board & Trains include lots of pictures and videos, video check-in nearly on demand, and weekly Zoom/video chats.

    • $75/day

    • $500/week

    • $1,500/month

    Prices DO NOT include transport of the dog to/from my home in southwest Idaho but they do include food (up to a certain price point).

  • Volhard Temperament Testing for pups/litters - $25 PLUS $10/pup

    Preliminary Dog Service Dog Temperament Testing for new dogs that are being considered for service dog work - $50 for one dog

    Full Service Dog Temperament Testing for dogs that you have been working with and are hoping to transition to service work - $100 for one dog which includes testing for all three levels of Canine Good Citizen

  • My public access test is available to all teams even if they have not trained with me. It is a comprehensive test that is similar to the Assistance Dogs International standard. The test generally takes about 2 hours and is a $180 service that provides you with two years of a professional trainer being willing to vouch for the team having met a minimum standard of behavior and reliable tasking.

    The test takes place in three parts; interview, public access, and tasking. Tasking can be demonstrated throughout the test but there is an opportunity to show tasks at the end, too.

    Passing this test does not give a service dog any legal or access rights above any other team!

    So why take a test that is not a requirement to have a legal working service dog?

    • You have a trainer to list on DOT forms for flying with your dog

    • You have a trainer to vouch for you and your dog in cases of legal action (your dog gets attacked and can no longer work, unlawful access issues, etc.)

    • You receive a certificate and ADA information card to easily direct people to me or the ADA website with questions

  • This $2,500 package is for someone starting out on their journey to Owner Train their dog! If a dog winds up needing to be taken out of consideration for training, the remaining of this package can be used on a secondary dog. The individual price of included items/services is worth about $2,860 so you save over 12% through this option!

    The package includes:

    • a full preliminary evaluation (worth $50)

    • a KPD Service Dog in Training Vest and two leash wraps (worth $125)

    • Weekly training/check-in sessions (worth $2,600)

    • An ADA information card (worth $10)

    • All three levels of Canine Good Citizen title testing (worth $75)

  • AKC Title Testing (test only) - $20/virtual title, $25/in-person title

    • Canine Good Citizen (in-person only)

    • AKC Community Canine (in-person only)

    • AKC Urban CGC (in-person only)

    • Trick Dog All Levels (in-person & virtual)

    • Virtual Home Manners Puppy or Adult (virtual only)

  • The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Class is a six week long class for puppies 10.5 months or younger at the beginning of class. This class helps set the foundations in place for you and your puppy to have a life of fun together by bonding through training! At the end of the class you will also be able to add the official S.T.A.R. Puppy title to your dog’s name (assuming all classes are attended and requirements met).

    I offer this class individually or at a lower rates for groups of two or more.

    • $190 per pup for class of 2 or more puppies

    • $290 per pup for individual class for dog under 1 year old

  • I offer this class about four times each year. It is a $220 cost for each dog that includes 7 weeks of 55 minute group training sessions (five dogs or less total) plus taking the CGC test on week 8.
